Job Description:
A company is looking for a Commercial Auto Underwriter I to
assess risk and determine case suitability.
Key Responsibilities
Perform risk reviews and underwriting assessments for new business,
renewals, and endorsements
Make decisions regarding risk acceptability and serve as a point of
contact for customer service teams
Analyze data to guide pricing, underwriting, and sales decisions
while ensuring compliance with procedures
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience
6+ months of experience in commercial underwriting
Ability to establish and maintain agency relationships and identify
profitable opportunities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Willingness to learn and use computer-based underwriting systems
effectively
