Job Description:
A company is looking for a Patient Advocate to connect uninsured
hospital patients to programs that cover their medical
expenses.
Key Responsibilities
Screen uninsured hospital patients for eligibility in medical or
disability assistance programs
Complete applications and maintain documentation throughout the
approval process
Collaborate with hospital staff and assist applicants in gathering
necessary documentation
Required Qualifications and Education
Some college coursework preferred
Prior hospital experience preferred
Professional experience with state and federal programs
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and
Outlook
Ability to adapt to changing processes and computer systems
