Job Title: Meat Associate Team LeaderThis is a supervisory role that assists the Team Leader in all aspects of daily operations, including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects. The successful candidate will lead and develop Team Members, ensuring a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members at all times. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining creative store layout and product merchandising, working with the Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets, and assisting with ordering and inventory management.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Maintain Store Layout and Product Merchandising: Create visually appealing and functional store displays that drive sales and customer engagement.
• Assist Team Leader with Sales, Purchasing, and Labor Targets: Collaborate with the Team Leader to set and achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets, ensuring the department meets or exceeds expectations.
• Ordering and Inventory Management: Assist the Team Leader with ordering and inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing waste.
• Team Leadership and Development: Lead and develop Team Members, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer needs and questions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.Requirements:
  • High energy and enthusiasm, with a passion for our products and company philosophy.
  • Extensive knowledge of meat products and production processes.
  • Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop Team Members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with Team Members, customers, and vendors.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.Working Conditions:
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
    • Ability to work in a wet and cold environment, with exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals.
    • Ability to use knives and other cutting equipment, as well as box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
